Spirit of Harrison
1993 8M 300HP Turbo-Diesel Jet Boat (Spirit of Harrison), Hamilton 274 Jet, Cummins 6BTA5.9M2 Diesel Engine, GARMIN 3010C Chartplotter/Sounder, Furuno Radar, Xenon flood/spotlights, Heated Cabin, Flying Bridge, 400L Fuel Capacity. The 8M 'Spirit of Harrison' was built by Celtic Shipyards (Vancover) in 1993. As a turbo-diesel jet boat, this vessel is able to operate in shallow water, while its 14 degree deadrise hull can still cope with the rough weather often encountered on Harrison Lake. This project was made possible by a contribution from the National Search and Rescue Secretariat's 'New Initiatives Fund' (NIF) Program.
