1993 27′ 300HP Turbo-Diesel Jet Boat (Spirit of Harrison), Hamilton 274 Jet, Cummins 6BTA5.9M2 Diesel Engine, GARMIN 3010C Chartplotter/Sounder, Furuno Radar, Xenon flood/spotlights, 2 x ICOM F521 radios (one for APRS), Heated Cabin, Flying Bridge. 15-person Liferaft, 400L Fuel Capacity.
The 27′ ‘Spirit of Harrison’ was built by Celtic Shipyards (Vancover) in 1993. As a turbo-diesel jet boat, this vessel is able to operate in shallow water, while its 14 degree deadrise hull can still cope with the rough weather often encountered on Harrison Lake.
This project was made possible by a contribution from the National Search and Rescue Secretariat’s ‘New Initiatives Fund’ (NIF) Program.
